Anjali was cast as the lead in the first feature film she ever booked. Shady, releasing December 2025, is an emotional drama where Tamara (Anjali) battles crooked cops and drug deals gone awry to save her son. Anjali is also proud of her work as a lead actor in Once Upon a Dime, a short film that earned an HBO Official Selection at the Black American Film Festival, and won Best Short at the Newark Indie Film Festival 2025.

Education & Training

Her acting training is primarily from The Strasberg Institute in LA with additional training from Margie Haber Studio and UCB in LA as well as Empowerhouse Studios in SF. She also has professional stunt, fight choreography, firearm, and dialect training.
